In the heart of the Piedmont countryside, in Pieve di Scalenghe, there is an outdoor event venue designed to make every guest feel truly at home. Caramello & Salato is much more than just a summer venue near Turin: it’s a green oasis where nature, handcrafted cuisine, music and togetherness come together to create authentic experiences.
An oasis where nature and entertainment blend in perfect harmony and where even children can have fun safely, with a dedicated baby play area just for them.
The garden hosts private events, birthdays, graduation parties, celebrations, baby showers, hen and stag parties in a relaxed atmosphere with attention to every detail. Plus, in the warmer months, the outdoor area comes alive with garden brunches, street food nights and open-air music events.

A summer venue surrounded by greenery in the province of Turin
Caramello & Salato was born from the dream of Francesca and her husband Roberto to create an outdoor event venue unlike the usual, surrounded by greenery and designed to make every guest truly feel at home.
What was once an abandoned 1970s house was transformed into a warm, genuine space.
Opened in 2019 as an artisan pastry workshop and catering service, it almost immediately went through a challenging time due to Covid. A difficulty that didn’t stop the project, but reshaped it, leading to a complete renovation of the outdoor area.
This is how Caramello & Salato’s summer garden was born: an outdoor venue in Scalenghe immersed in nature, alongside a covered summer marquee for up to 90 people, perfect for outdoor events at any time of the season. The indoor space remains available during the colder months, ensuring continuity all year round.
From 2021, the venue began hosting outdoor events, garden brunches and private parties, quickly winning over the public thanks to a friendly, informal atmosphere with attention to detail.
To make the experience even more original, a food truck and an Ape Car converted into an open bar were also introduced, placed right on the lawn to create an even more unique, one-of-a-kind vibe.
Today, during the summer season, Caramello & Salato offers aperitifs and street-food dinners over the weekend, with a cuisine inspired by America yet deeply tied to the Piedmont area and local products.
In recent years, the offering has been further enriched with pastry and workshop classes, held in small groups with professional equipment, to provide authentic experiences even during the week.
